NJ Bar admission is mandatory for this position.Duties:Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters with a focus on Higher Education cases.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.Participate in all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial or settlement.Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and client communication.Managed client relationships and provided timely updates on case developments.Attend hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings as required.Requirements:4-6 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably focusing on Higher Education.Strong academic background, including a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.Skills:Commercial litigation experience.Higher Education law knowledge (preferred).Legal research and writing proficiency.Strong oral advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.Client relationship management skills.
