The role involves advising, counseling, and training employers on various employment and labor law matters and representing employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies in employment disputes.Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges.Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.Represent employers in court, arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediation in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.Preference for experience in Class Action/PAGA cases.Supervise associate and paralegal work, delegate assignments, and provide feedback.Stay abreast of current agency (state and federal) procedures.Requirements:JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with significant experience managing and running litigation cases in a first-chair capacity.Current CA Bar admission in good standing.In-depth understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures.Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Current California Bar admission is in good standing.
