Learn more: www.hartresearch.com .ABOUT THIS POSITION: The field manager is a dauntless and organized individual who oversees the execution of all Hart Research's qualitative research. This person remains composed under pressure and has a keen eye for detail, as they coordinate between internal research teams and outside vendors and focus group facilities to make both online and in-person focus groups happen. Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinate with Research Teams and outside vendors to ensure research projects are scheduled, planned according to analyst’s specifications, executed successfully, and finished on time. Solicit, manage, and present bids from qualitative vendors including facilities, recruiters, and hosting services. Serve as a repository for vendor experiences; translate into recommendations for specific projects; present a range of scenarios. Schedule and manage internal and external logistics for qualitative research projects and act as a liaison to and between vendors. Maintain and update network of research vendors. Build and improve on professional relationships with outside vendors and engage in outreach to identify new vendors as needed. Liaise with accounting department on all vendor invoices and payments. Coordinate and update qualitative research materials. Manage system for disbursing honoraria and rewards. Achieve advanced-level expertise on platforms used for qualitative work and become a resource for questions and training on those platforms. Innovate, implement, and standardize updates and best practices for qualitative research. Provide support and assistance outside of the core job function. Accomplish all tasks appropriately assigned or requested. All positions at Hart Research Associates may be asked to provide support and assistance outside of their core job function. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of project management experience Technological Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Tech savvy with ability to quickly learn and work with computer- or internet-based applications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with public opinion research sector Familiarity with qualitative methodologies Excellent written and verbal communications skills Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, discrete, resourceful, and able to maintain confidentiality Ability to communicate with a variety of people, both internal and external Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to initiate and follow through on work independently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented Excellent time management skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to meet assigned deadlines Ability to adapt to changing priorities Problem-solving skills with ability to recommend solutions Strong multi-tasking abilities Bonus Points: Demonstrated interest in progressive issues, the political process, and current events a plus Spanish language fluency a plus The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to go up and down multiple flights of stairs, and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and ability to use a keyboard. The employee frequently is required to be in one position for long periods of screen use, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear both in person and over devices. The employee interacts in close spaces and frequently with other workers, vendors, and clients. The position works in an office environment with artificial light and air.
