Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in Athens, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/17/2024 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: TravelJob Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel - X-Ray TechShift: Variable D/E / usually 3p-11:30p / 7a-3:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week,--with only occasional need for 11p-7:30a,--EOW/EOHLength: 12 weeksRequirements: OH License 1 year experience Graduate of an accredited radiography program BLS Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsOther Details: No Local COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not RequiredNo Local---Position: Rad Tech/Xray Tech---Shift: 5x8's on varied shifts (usually 1 or 0, with only occasional need for 2); every other weekend and every other holidayJOB SUMMARYThis position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (4028):---Graduate of an accredited radiography program---ODH Ohio Radiologic License---BLS Certification---Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGEGraduate of an approved accredited radiography program. Registered with ARRT; ODH Ohio Radiologic License, BLS certification. Thorough knowledge of various medical imaging procedures and equipment including proper technique and positioning, handling and administering ionizing radiation to include contrast media agents, radiographic anatomy and physiology and medical terminology. Expresses superior customer service skills. Pleasant demeanor, neat, poised appearance. Ability to function as team member, with limited supervision.
