The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of mediation and trial experience, proficiency in researching and analyzing complex legal issues, drafting various legal documents, marketing services to prospective clients, conducting discovery, performing due diligence, and demonstrating strong communication and advocacy skills. The candidate must efficiently manage their schedule to meet production objectives, actively engage in brand expansion activities, and maintain excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Duties:Mediate disputes and represent clients in trialsResearch and analyze complex legal issuesDraft memorandums, briefs, letters, and other legal documentsMarket legal services to prospective clientsPerform discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of informationConduct due diligence in all mattersManage schedule for consultations and closure of consultationsClose consultations within Gravis range of 30-50%Update client management system with relevant informationEngage in brand expansion through blogs, social media, board participation, etc.Seek positive feedback and reviews from clientsPerform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements:5+ years of experience as an attorneySuccessful record of mediation experienceSignificant and successful trial experienceJuris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law schoolAdmission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the Bar in the state of practice Skills:Strong communication and advocacy skillsProficiency in legal research and writingEmpathetic listening skillsEffective time management and schedulingMarketing and business development skills Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school Certifications:Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the Bar in the state of practice Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) plan with company matchingUnlimited paid time off for vacation/sick daysPaid Federal HolidaysPaid Volunteer Time Off: Up to 16 hours annually
