About Your Internship Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our 2024 Internship Program in the quality engineering team. The quality engineering team at Affinity Solutions is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design and execution of test plans, test cases/scripts for our client websites and software applications to ensure the product meets our highest quality standards. As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our experienced quality engineering team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to support the testing and quality assurance efforts throughout the software development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply various quality engineering techniques, methodologies, and tools to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of our software products. This role will follow a hybrid structure, working remotely (within the USA) and going into our NY, CA, or TX office. Salary Range: $25-$30 per hour Duration of Internship Role: Available immediately; full-time during Summer 2024 (June to September) Your Contributions: Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies, processes, and methodologies. Review and analyze product requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and enhancements. Execute test cases and document test results, identifying and reporting defects in a clear and concise manner. Your Qualifications: Recent graduate, or currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience in QA software testing Working to high-level knowledge of SQL, API testing Salary Range: $25-$30/hr
