If so, then you've come to the right place!General SummaryThis role will provide a unique opportunity to support and implement Company-wide equipment initiatives, gain a deep understanding of our company-wide equipment management strategy, and support success in equipment operations.Essential Job Accountabilities * Support the company's Asset Management Program (AMP) by working with operations to ensure system functionality and efficiency. * Assist in the development, implementation, and analytics of telematics to ensure accurately, cost effective and timely equipment maintenance and management. * Participate in the company's Crane and Rig inspection program to ensure that crane inspections are conducted according to Equipment Department procedures. * Provide support for Equipment Department resource programs and systems to ensure thorough communication of company policies, procedures, and department updates. * Provide technical guidance and direction to ensure after-market retrofitting of equipment meets approved specifications. * Assist in the coordination of Equipment Department training activities and programs for the Construction and Materials operations to ensure training events occur as designed and scheduled. * Assist in the maintenance and development of the company's Equipment Identification Program, standard identity manual, and Repair Guidelines to achieve fleet consistency. * Support on-site mining and machine application reviews, report and make recommended changes to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. * Support maintenance and repair activities to ensure that work orders are captured accurately and completed on time.Education * Bachelor's degree is required in a specialty that is common to Equipment Department activities.Work Experience * Part-time or internship experience in equipment or construction-related field preferred.Knowledge, skills, and abilities * Strong leadership ability. * Practical knowledge of the function, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment and/or education & experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. * Proficient computer skills including all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and familiarity with Oracle Enterprise One (e1) Capital Asset Management (CAM) module. * Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines. * Ability to interface and build strong relationships with all levels of personnel. * Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information. * Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail. * Team player who can operate effectively within a matrix management environment.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
