We invite you to review our website to learn more about our company and team by visiting our website at https://www.cgoncology.com/careers/#overview . _____________________________________________________________________________________ Role: Senior Manager, IT Business Applications Location: Remote US-Based Essential Functions: Apply strong business knowledge in one or more of the following business areas and solutions: Medical & Clinical Operations eTMF, CTMS/CDMS, EDC, IRT, Medical Information Requests, Data Analytics G&A Business Functions HRIS, LMS, Accounting & Financial Management, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, Expense Management, Compliance Commercial Operations QMS, EDMS, Regulatory Submissions (eCTD), MRP, Track & Trace, CRM Data Management Act as a technical lead and participate in projects/programs to drive the delivery of technology solutions for Medical & Clinical Operations, G&A business functions, and/or Commercial operations. Contribute to user requirements specification, design specification, system and business configuration, system build, validation plan and report, test scripts development and execution, technical manuals, user training, system release to production and transition to operation. Demonstrate a strong, consultative, and collaborative style, partnering within CG Oncology business partners, vendors, and IT support teams to achieve CG Oncology business goals and solve identified business issues. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and systems used to support the framework (incident management, service management, change management). Support the evaluation and selection of technology vendors in alignment with IT standards. Educate and advise team members on technical options, including feasibility (benefits, risks, pros, and cons), approach, alignment to applicable standards and support expectations (cost structure, resource requirements). Manage software lifecycle management strategies and roadmaps that align with defined business strategies and support achievement of IT, business, and corporate goals. Support risk and impact analysis assessments of new systems to business processes/operations, and changes to existing systems according to CG Oncology policies & procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements. Accountable for the overall health (maintenance, operation, training, access, usage, change, quality, and compliance) of business IT systems. Work with internal & external groups to manage the overall business IT systems maintenance and operational support. Coordinate effort, and engage appropriate stakeholders, users, and vendor staff to manage system maintenance needs, product releases, service requests, incidents, problems, and change controls. Establish strong working relationships with IT systems user communities, other business functions, and across IT support teams to ensure the appropriate adoption, effective usage and adequate control of IT systems, and the adherence to industry and government regulations. Provide input to Service Level Agreement between CG Oncology and vendor, and between CG Oncology IT and Business Functions. Report performance metric and identify opportunities for improvement. Be the point of contact within CG Oncology and between CG Oncology and vendor for the reporting and escalation of technical issues that require vendor support. Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and master new IT systems that support business operations. Partner with CG Oncology functional team members and within CG Oncology IT to ensure effective implementation, compliance, and support for IT systems, including information security, integration with other IT systems, data integrity, system governance and technology architecture. Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, project managers, and stakeholders. Demonstrates strong work ethic, trust, integrity, and accountability. Executes other projects or duties as assigned. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering or a related field) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience 8 years of experience in IT including business application relationship management roles within the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology sector Minimum of 5 years managing enterprise business applications, vendors and support function is required.8 years of experience in IT including business application relationship management roles within the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology sector Medical & Clinical operations, G&A related business functions, and/or Commercial operations Knowledge of applicable industry standards Experience with system configuration, systems administration, security administration. Experience in the biopharmaceutical/life sciences industry desired in small to medium sized companies The U.S. target annual salary range for this remote, full-time, position is currently set at $175,000 - $186,000. The actual base salary offered for this role will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, experience and considering internal equity.
