We are looking for a dynamic individual to help us grow and join our team!Summary: Lead the business in Demand Planning, Scheduling, and Purchasing for this manufacturing processor of 150 finished goods, 450 raw materials and producing 165m lbs. annually of finished goods.PRIMARY ACOUNTABILITIES: Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with our business unit's overall objectives, driving operational excellence and efficiency.Provide visionary leadership to our supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Drive organizational change initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and adapt to market dynamics.Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring seamless execution.Lead with a safety approach that ensures that every associate remains injury free, always. Champion safety procedures, processes, and training to create and maintain a safety-first culture in all aspects of the business.Support the company s customer centric philosophy in product service levels and quality.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring reliable sources of supply and favorable terms.Implement inventory management strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.Manage the supply chain budget, tracking expenses and performance against targets, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Oversee and develop supply chain associates through one-on-one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required, and leading by example. Discuss associate performance with General Managers and create plans to address gaps.Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve supply chain processes and procedures, systems performance, inventory accuracy, and quality of product.Education, Experience, Skills:Treat people with dignity and respect. Coach, train, mentor to develop oneself and teammates to be the best possible version of themselves.Proven track record of senior leadership in supply chain management roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible positions.Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable supply chain strategies.Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively for quality, cost, and delivery.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence key stakeholders.In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies, with expertise in areas such as procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.Experience implementing and optimizing supply chain systems, such as ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).An individual that can set the tone for change, hold people accountable and lead a diverse workforce.
