Job Summary The Sr. Firmware Engineer will work as a member of the R&D team to develop electronic products for Hyundai Translead’s van trailer product lines. The successful candidate will have experience in development of embedded device, 32 bit microcontroller, C/C++, and wireless technologies. Essential Functions* Write and maintain firmware written in C/C++ for current 32-bit microprocessors* Work with team members to gather, analyze, and synthesize customer requirements* Create test code for various sensors and circuits, with emphasis placed on documentation for use in both development and production testing* Work directly with Hardware engineers and help support development* Other duties as assignedMinimum Education and Experience Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field* 5 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems* Good understanding of software architectures and processes* Knowledge of SDLC with multiple product development cycles* Experience with embedded firmware 32 bit microcontrollers (e.g. ARM Cortex, ESP32), and experience with wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth and Wi-FiThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Hyundai Translead is an EEO/AA/Disability/Vets EmployerReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
