Ocala specializes in both low volume - high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing.Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Ocala, FL is seeking a motivated Senior Supplier Quality Engineer. The Supplier Quality role is responsible as the key liaison between operations, suppliers, and the customer, ensuring that overall specifications, quality/regulatory requirements, and expectations are met for all purchased product.Learn more about Missiles & Fire Control Business here.Job Duties Include:* Interfaces with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality related issues.* Analyze and resolve issues associated with components, assemblies, and material provided by suppliers. * Lead containment activities when defects are identified on procured components. * Issue corrective action requests to suppliers for defective parts and ensure their Root Cause and Corrective Action are effective and prevent reoccurrences. * Create and assign inspection plans associated with procured components. * Attend program corrective action meetings.* Use statistical analysis to identify trends.* Host quality systems audit performed by outside organizations.* Support the internal corrective action program for deficiency identification.* Support Receiving Inspection and the production floor.* Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement. * Train Inspectors and other Quality professionals (e.g. simulating audits, review procedures, new process roll-out) Must Be a U.S. Citizen. Basic Qualifications: * STEM degree at a Bachelor's level or higher and/or equivalent professional experience* Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.* In-depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.* Knowledge and experience conducting Purchase Orders reviews, source inspections, Special Process / QMS surveys, FAI's, and surveillance at supplier facilities.* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.* Experienced as a team lead and facilitator with business management skills.* Effective communication and presentation skills. Desired Skills: * STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher is highly preferred.* A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systems.* ASQ Certification(s) and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).* AS9100 Interpretation and application experience.* Ability to implement strategy and meet performance goals / objectives.* Demonstrates Full Spectrum Leadership attributes including: (1) Deliver Results, (2) Shape the Future, (3) Build Effective Relationships, (4) Energize the Team and (5) Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and Accountability.* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi-task and meet deadlines.* Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
