EOEPosition Information: The Biomed Engineering Tech I maintains medical equipment through the effective use of the department Medical Equipment Management Plan. -Performs intermediate level tasks associated with the installation maintenance and inspection of medical equipment. -Maintains records of all activities associated with medical devices. -Demonstrates a working knowledge of current medical equipment technology to include computers software and networking with ability to adapt to developing technology. -Utilizing critical thinking skills consults with more experienced technicians when making decisions regarding the maintenance of unfamiliar equipment.Experience Requirements: 1 Year Biomedical Engineering Or Equivalent Preferred Or 2 Years Biomedical Engineering Or Related Position Experience In Lieu of DegreeEducation Required: Associate's Degree Technology Or -Information Systems Or Certificate Military Equivalent RequiredLicensure/Certification Requirements: Not ApplicableHours of Work: m-f 7-3:30Weekend Requirements: As NeededCall Requirements: yes
