As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, ConnectEd Teletherapy is currently seeking a part-time Special Education Tutor to provide virtual services for K-12 Special Education students. This position is 100% remote, and does not require any in-person services! Special Education Tutor Qualifications: Master's degree in Special Education Pennsylvania State Teacher's Certificate Experience working with K-12 Students Tutor Responsibilities Include: Reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments Working with students to help them understand key points and ideas to drive home the concepts they might have learned during classes Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks providing subject-area knowledge and mentoring students on the strategies, techniques, and attitudes needed for successful mastery of the material. Providing students positive and constructive feedback Offering feedback on progress to students' parents and teachers where appropriate Consulting, as needed, with teachers and other classroom staff.
