About the Job Sigma Defense is in search of a Mid-Level System Administrator to provide on-site support in Patuxent River, MD, USA. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with a degree from a university or accredited college, or 5 years of experience with no degree or advanced certifications. Preferred experience includes familiarity with P-8A Application Based Architecture (ABA) and/or P-8A Tactical Open Mission (TOMS) software and TOMS Software Development Environment (SDE). Candidates must possess an active DoD issued Secret security clearance and certifications such as Security+, RHCSA, LFCS, and LFCA are highly desired. Key characteristics for success include strong organizational and time management skills, effective communication and customer service abilities, and experience in building virtualized environments. Responsibilities include system administration of network, web, and communication systems, troubleshooting COTS equipment, and supporting assessment and authorization efforts. Sigma Defense Systems offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $135,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package including dental and vision insurance, medical coverage, life and AD&D coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, educational assistance, and more.
