The ideal candidate will have strong legal research skills, trial and mediation experience, and the ability to handle complex legal issues. They must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, be highly organized, and be capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously. Attorney II will also be responsible for marketing the firm's services, performing discovery, managing client consultations, and ensuring the timely approval of invoices.Duties:Mediation experienceTrial experienceResearching and analyzing the law on complex legal issuesWriting memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documentsMarketing your and the firm’s services to prospective clientsPerforming discovery of various electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigationPerforming due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitionsManaging a schedule to allow for consults and closure of consults to reach production/collection objectives sufficientlyClosing consults within the Firm's range of 30-50%, depending on the practice areaTimely approval of invoices is critical to the health of the business on a month-to-month basis monthly cycleEnsure support staff are fully utilized and productiveAccurately and completely update CC with fees, engagement, trust, client information, invoices, etc. as requiredActively engage in brand (personal and firm) expansion through blogs, social media posts, board and organization participation, etc.Actively seek positive comments from successful client engagements and positive star reviewsCommunicating and advising clientsPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequirements:Excellent writing and interpersonal skillsExcellent legal research skillsJuris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law schoolAdmission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the WA Bar4-6 years of experience as an attorneySkills:Professional attitude with a strong sense of discretion to keep sensitive information secure and privateExcellent interpersonal communication skills when working with clients, members of the court, and other employeesStrong organizational abilities and time management skills to handle many cases at onceBenefits:Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceRetirement: 401(k) plan with company matchingPaid time off: Attorneys receive unlimited PTO for Vacation/Sick days; Paid Federal Holidays; Paid Volunteer Time Off: Up to 16 hours annually.
