The ideal candidate will assist in various public finance matters involving state entities and nonprofits, handling tax-exempt and taxable municipal bonds, commercial loans, and securities disclosure offering documents. Duties:Handle public finance matters for state entities and nonprofits, including tax-exempt and taxable municipal bonds.Draft transaction documents such as trust agreements, loan agreements, and closing certificates.Assist with the review of due diligence materials.Draft securities disclosure offering documents, including limited offering memorandums and official statements.Provide legal counsel on public infrastructure and capital improvement projects.Serve as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel, and purchaser’s/lender’s counsel.Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Requirements:2-5 years of relevant experience in public finance, real estate finance, and/or lending/corporate finance preferred.JD from an accredited law school.Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.Excellent academic credentials.Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal communication skills. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Massachusetts Bar. Skills:Experience in public finance, real estate finance, and/or lending/corporate finance.Strong drafting skills for transaction documents and securities disclosure offering documents.Ability to review due diligence materials effectively.Legal research and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
