Staff Accountant

Description:
Position Overview: As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance department and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to general ledger maintenance, financial analysis, and assisting with month-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and records. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification or progress toward CPA eligibility preferred but not required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
