Quality Engineer II : Line Support About the Role: At Boston Scientific, the Quality Engineer II : Line Support will provide engineering support for the Maple Grove site within the Nitinol Shape Memory team, ensuring delivery of the highest quality products to our patients. In a fast:paced and dynamic environment, he/she/they will be responsible for several manufacturing processes on the manufacturing line, working cross:functionally with manufacturing engineering and production teams to achieve business unit goals.The ideal candidate will be comfortable interfacing with downstream internal customers and providing quality leadership to the production team. Your Responsibilities Include: : Identifies and implements effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on:going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.: Leads in the implementation of assurances, process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.: Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.: Applies sound, systematic problem:solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.: Provides input and implements departmental or cross:functional engineering initiatives. What Were Looking For: Required Qualifications: : Bachelor's degree requiredin engineering, science, technology or mathematics. : 2+ yearsof related work experience Preferred Qualifications: : Medical Device experience: Experience with the following disciplines: manufacturing/process engineering, CAPA, risk management or supplier quality.: Knowledge of analytical techniques, problem solving and statistical analysis (Excel, Minitab): Experience managing multiple projects across various organizational disciplines: Strong written and verbal communication skills: Self:starter witha proven ability to successfully work with minimal supervision.
