PURPOSE/SCOPE: Supply Chain Engineer will be part of a growing Supply Chain Engineering regional organization reporting to Sr Materials Manager. The individual will lead and execute strategic improvements of overall supply chain processes within North America Materials with focus on New Product Launch (NPD), Engineering Changes (EC), Part for Every Part (PFEP) and key supply chain aspects of Material Master and related processes and controls, in order to ensure Materials Management teams are set up for successful executon while meeting time to market timelines. GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES: : Process ownership of Materials team tasks for NPD and ECM in order to achieve timely execution and SOP readiness ensuring new products launch in a desired state while miniminzing change related obsolesence: Represents the interests of the Materials team functions in NPD / ECM meetings: Leading, collaborating, and assisting with process improvements around NPD and ECM and championing problem:solving efforts on NPD / ECM issues: Ownership of PFEP and SAP Master Data Management : Supply Chain Network Design in collaboration with Global Strategic Sourcing, Advanced Operations and Transportation: Establishment of packaging standards and maintenance: Definition and optimization of segmentation and inventory strategies within SAP: Documenting strategies and SOPs detailing process flows for SCEs EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION: : Bachelors Degree in the field of Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business: 7:10 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering or materials management is required: Prior SAP experience required, with an emphasis on materials management:Knowledge of BOM (bill of material) management and maintenance preferred: Experience in driving launch readiness processes: Prior knowledge of effective Engineering Change Management systems preferred REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL and BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: In addition to the General Responsibilities, the following are requisite interpersonal and behavior skills of the position as well as: : Strong attention to detail and process driven: Ability to identify, collaborate on and lead process improvements: Robust Critical thinking skills and results oriented problem:solving skills: Well:set time management skills: Projects are planned and completed utilizing resources efficiently: Effective cross collaboration between departments and teams: Capable of working effectively within a team and supports strong working relationships with all stake holders: Demonstrates compelling presentation skills: Influences organizational change (e.g., asks questions and challenges the past ways of doing things, etc.) :Willingness to own and address critical roadblocks to achieving goals :Demonstrates a sense of urgency to achieve KPIs***Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship*** Begin your journey with us.
