Job Title:Senior ERM Analyst - Regulatory RelationsLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:T--- he Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Department is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the Bank's risk management framework. As the Senior ERM Analyst, you will play a key role in helping operationalize and mature the framework. The primary responsibility for this Senior ERM Analyst role is to take ownership of a critical role as a member of the bank's Regulator Relations Function. Key responsibilities are to manage internal communication regarding supervisory activities including, regulatory exam management, tracking the progress of regulatory remediation, and preparing reports for management related to these activities.Reporting to the ERM Program Manager, you will participate in various ERM initiatives, and produce high-quality deliverables including procedure documents, reports, and presentations for Senior Management, and other special projects as assigned. The Senior ERM Analyst will also be responsible for effectively collaborating with key stakeholders across business lines and the three lines of defense to ensure risks are managed effectively and efficiently, in accordance with the company policies and related regulatory requirements.What we are looking for: Responsibilities: Proactively works with ERM Management, business unit management, and regulators to ensure the execution of efficient supervisory activities, including but not limited to regulatory examinations. Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries Coordinate and organize regulatory meetings Handle logistics related to the examination planning Coordinate all aspects of the examination action plan Prepare debriefs and track action item from meetings Track deliverables and ensure timely, complete, and accurate submissions Ensure that all matters relating to material regulatory risks are communicated and escalated promptly and accurately to ERM Management and the Chief Risk Officer. Complete assignments and projects within the ERM Team Edit and author procedure documents, forms, and written communications Prepares various reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information Produce various content, including leading the design and creation of presentations Contribute to team efforts by being flexible and taking on new assignments as needed Work effectively throughout the organization to accomplish shared business objectives Collaborate with the ERM team work streams on cross-functions and program enhancements Ensure WAL policies, procedures, and associated enterprise risk management programs are consistent with current applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree OR Relevant equivalent experience preferred High school diploma or GED equivalent required Knowledge of and experience working with general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services. Knowledge of and experience with all applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices. Relevant industry and professional experience across one or more of the three lines of defense.
