The Intellectual Property Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, for clients in various industries. Duties:Conduct legal research on intellectual property issues and provide analysis and recommendationsDraft and prosecute patent applications before the USPTOPrepare and file trademark and copyright registrationsAssist with intellectual property litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsNegotiate and draft intellectual property agreements, such as licensing agreements and technology transfer agreementsProvide strategic advice to clients on intellectual property protection and enforcementConduct intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactionsStay current with developments in intellectual property law and industry trends Requirements:Member of the State Bar of California, admitted in good standingEligible to practice law in California, or eligibility subject to successful completion of the California Bar ExaminationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolShould have experience practicing intellectual property law, preferably in a law firm settingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Membership in the State Bar of California Skills:Legal research and analysisPatent prosecutionTrademark and copyright registrationIntellectual property litigationContract negotiation and draftingClient counselingDue diligenceTime management and organizational skillsBenefits Offered:Elective health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance)Mental well-being benefitsChild, family, elder, and pet care benefitsShort- and long-term disability benefitsHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Flexible spending accountsLong-term care insurance401K programFlexible Time Off programParental leave benefitsPaid holidays
