Job Title: Structural Engineer Job type: Full-time Perm Salary: (up to) £40,000JRG has a strong portfolio of work in the London & South England areas primarily with high-end residential and commercial sectors. We have an opening for a Structural Engineer to join our team at our Reading office to undertake designs on a variety of projects, from small domestic extensions to large, residential properties and office developments. Working alongside colleagues across SEAG , you will be encouraged to develop your design experience and skills and be supported to obtain accreditation to the Institute of Structural Engineers. With project costs up to £6m and the use of the latest design software, the role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in impactful, high-value projects. A competitive salary of up to £40k will be offered, commensurate with the importance of this role within our company. JRG is part of the Structural Engineering Alliance Group (SEAG), a collective of esteemed engineering firms, each distinguished in its respective field, united by a shared vision of pioneering progress. Responsibilities: Use the latest design software to create and manage structural designs Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications and reports for a wide range of structures and materials Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred) Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
