Position Details: π Schedule: Full-time; No Weekends πΆ Unit: Postpartum π₯ Facility: Over 300 beds, featuring a 60+ bed rehabilitation hospital and an internationally-renowned institute for cardiac care. Job Summary: π©ββοΈ As the Postpartum Manager, you will oversee clinical and financial outcomes for the postpartum unit, managing operations and personnel activities. You'll ensure the acquisition and retention of qualified staff and uphold a professional climate. Responsibilities: π Manage unit operations and personnel activities. π οΈ Develop departmental goals aligned with hospital strategies. π Assure quality control, staff retention, and regulatory compliance. π Encourage professional growth and education among staff. Qualifications: π Bachelorβs Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. π©Ί Registered Nurse license in Texas or Compact License (Texas license required within 90 days of hire). π 3+ years in a leadership role (Charge Nurse, Care Coordinator, or Supervisor). π£οΈ Bilingual (Spanish) skills are beneficial. π‘ Specialty certifications (e.g., Maternal Newborn Nurse) preferred.
