Due to our continued growth, we are seeking Construction Inspectors for a variety of projects throughout New Jersey. Responsibilities Inspecting systems, products, roadways, bridges, etc. to make sure everything has been built according to local, state or federal codes and regulations Provide technical assistance to contractors, maintaining daily progress reports, investigating complaints and requests and ensuring compliance of contractors with contract/construction plans and specifications Work closely with Engineer of Record to ensure proper installation and compliance with code Qualifications Knowledge of the methods, materials and design of a variety infrastructure projects including water and sewer Understanding building, local State and Federal regulations pertaining to construction of water and sewer facilities Ability to perform detailed technical inspections and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications and record drawings Communicate clearly and concisely; strong verbal and written skills Skilled in all standards and safety requirements - Please visit our website for all of our career opportunities at https://careers-liro.icims.com - We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment. - Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.LiRo-Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
