Description:Curtis Lane Equipment is an authorized Bobcat-- dealer serving Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina with 11 full-service locations. We offer sales, rental, parts, and service of all Bobcat machines. We are looking for a Rental Specialist for our Roanoke Dealership. Responsible for Rental Department profitabilityResponsible for creating a positive customer experienceFollows up with quote requests or availabilityResponsible for helping forecast for rental inventory additions and deletionsCompletes assigned trainingResponsible for maintaining good housekeeping conditions for the departmentResponsible for the accuracy of all invoicing, making sure to include additional billing items such as transportation charges, cleaning charges, fuel charges, damage waiver, etcAssists with business development by adding new customers, and maintaining existing customer basePeriodically reviews the competition, suggesting or making adjustments to prices and offeringsCommunicates with the dealership Sales Manager regarding sales leads, rental inventory to be sold, new rental customers, etcInvolved with the credit department to collect past due accounts and resolve any customer conflictsIs available at all times to staff through appropriate use of communications devices such as radios, telephones, cell phones, and intercom systemsHas a thorough understanding of the construction phases involved in civil and commercial projectsMechanical aptitude or experience with Bobcat machinery and their practical applicationsRequirements: 2-3 years of heavy equipment rental experienceStrong mechanical mindset and technical/computer skillsCurtis Lane Equipment benefits include:Competitive compensationMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceShort Term Disability paid for by companyLong Term Disability and Life Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offCurtis Lane Equipment is an equal opportunity employer.
