Responsibilities:Working alongside a collaborative, small, and quality-focused team you will get to: • Provide care to a wide range of animals. You work with not only dogs and cats but also other animals like hobby farm animals to exotic animals• Review vaccination records, prepare vaccines if needed, and administer vaccines according to the vaccine protocol of Gentle Vet Animal Hospital• Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments as well as associated costs by providing a treatment plan/estimate• Maintain and use medical equipment such as autoclaves, surgical instruments, X-rays, blood system analyzers, etc.• Educate the public about diseases that can be spread from animals to humans• Assist with compassionate end-of-life discussions with clients and humane euthanasia of patients when medically and/or ethically necessary• Induce and maintain anesthesia• Dentistry• And, many other duties! Qualifications:• The ideal candidate for this Licensed Veterinary Technician position in Green Bay, WI, US should hold a certification as a veterinary technician/nurse in Wisconsin or be eligible to transfer their license from another state.• Recent graduates from accredited AVMA CVTEA programs will also be considered for this role. Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly About Company: Gentle Vet is working hard to provide noticeably better care and service in our brand-new facility. We want the staff to have great work experiences, and as a result, the staff will then give the clients and pets a great experience. We want to focus on quality medicine, and while wellness is important too, we focus hard on tough cases and exotic medicine. This creates an ever-changing communication environment.
