Quality Technician I - Lab Technician

About the job COMPANY DESCRIPTION: At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a QA / Lab Technicianbased in Dallas, TX. This position will work the night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am CST on a 2,2,3 schedule and will include working every other weekend. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This role will be responsible for monitoring qualitative/quantitative testing of process and product attributes to ensure food safety and food quality. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations such as the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance. Compliance with all applicable standards such as FSSC 22000, Third party audits, Internal audits, Kosher and Organic requirements. Ensure processes, work in progress, incoming goods, in-process product, finished product meets specifications. Interpretation of testing results to release of product that has met specifications. Process documentation for non-conforming product and communicate information to plant management. About you Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a science field or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desirable. Must have High School diploma at a minimum. Two or more years with previous laboratory with microbiology and chemistry experience required. 1-3 years of experience in a food production environment. Must have clear understanding of compliance to regulatory requirements related to food safety and public health.
