nGenesis is currently seeking a temporary Data Entry Specialist to work with our client in Wassaic, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities – Taconic office. Apply today and we’ll reach out to answer any questions you may have! Job Duties · Duties will be performed within the Business Office. · Filing, phones, receiving and tracking various monthly logs, compiling paperwork for both data entry and submission to the central office, communication with remote sites and vendors · Operate data entry equipment with alphabetic and numeric keyboard; enter, verify, update, correct and retrieve information; enter information with speed and accuracy. · Use word processor/computer or typewriter to prepare letters, reports, forms, or other material from rough draft, corrected copy, or voice recording. · Enter and retrieve data on computer terminals. · Duties may include verifying data and preparing materials for printing. · May perform other clerical duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications · Excellent writing and communication abilities are preferred · Should be a self-starter · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must · Ability to work effectively and professionally with higher level management staff is essential · Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. is a mandatory component of the assignment · Reliability, and time and attendance are critical *Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
