The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The Supervisor - Ambulatory Care provides leadership to clerical staff promoting patient centered care at the Elgin Avenue outpatient clinics and the William Avenue Community Services Building. Assists the Manager with the hiring and performance management of clerical staff Supervises clerical staff ensuring that standard operating procedures are followed Ensures the quality of service provided is in alignment with standards Coaches and mentors direct reports in workflow standards Delegates work assigenments and recommends solutions based on workload performance indicators, monitoring staffing, rotations, schedules, supplies and capital equipment and supports regional and provincial initiatives, data/workflow analysis and the development of training/troubleshooting materials/SOPs Experience 3 years supervisory experience preferably in a unionized health care setting and services organization including: 2 years of experience with a focus on planning and implementing and data management and the promotion of data quality and integrity 2 years of experience with ambulary care and/or clinic work 2 years of experience working knowledge of Accuro Medical record and EPR. 2 years of experience with health information functions including patient registration, health records management, access, collection and disclosure.
