No. of Vacancy of this position: 4 Main Duties of the Truck Driver, Long Haul (NOC 73300): • Operate and drive tractor-trailer to transport goods and material• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods. • Communicate any delays due to road conditions, accidents or breakdown with dispatcher using on-board communication devices • Logging hours and distances driven, rest stop durations as well as all fuel, repair and toll expenses• Performing service checks on tire pressure, oil, and fluids levels as well as minor repairs when required Requirements: Experience in related field will be an asset.
