Job Description Ah-So Sushi Farm Boy Kingston, located at 940 Futures Gate, Kingston, ON K7M 8T5, Canada, is currently looking for one permanent, full time Sush Chef qualified. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail. • Position: Sushi Chef• Vacancy: One (1)• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent• Compensation: $20 per hour• Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week• Benefits: 4% vacation pay / Tips and free meals at work Job Duties• Prepare and complete Japanese foods such as sushi rolls, maki rolls, tempura, bento, etc. • Plan and create new menus and various sauces• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food • Cook various deep-fried seafood and vegetable tempura and treat deep fry oils safely and dispose used oil in proper manner• Be responsible for reflecting customers’ feedback • Keep track of food expenditures, consumption, transactions, and stock levels. • Analyze operational expenses and additional information. • Ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions and estimate food requirements, costs• Recruit, train and supervise cooks, kitchen helpers with respect to food preparation Work Conditions & Skills• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure, Attention to detail• Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Team player, Organized, Initiative, Dependability, Reliability Requirements• Completion of secondary school• Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook in a commercial restaurant (or) Completion of apprenticeship program for cooks (or) Completion of college or other program in cooking is required Contact Information: Ah-So Sushi Farm Boy Kingston• Business Location: 940 Futures Gate, Kingston, ON K7M 8T5, Canada• E-mail: xyz X@ We welcome applicants from underrepresented groups including visible minorities, newcomers, youth and/or aboriginal people.
