My client, on the outskirts of Derby, is looking for a new General Manager for this stunning restaurant. What you get: Basic salary of £30,000 Plus tips Plus Tronc of £200-£400 a month, from day 1 Plus Managers' bonus after probation of up to £500 (This is highly achievable! ) 45 hour working week This gorgeous venue offer fresh food, m cooked to order with a strong Mediterranean influence, wood-fired pizza ovens, small plates and a lovely relaxed environment. This is a fabulous role for a General Manager looking for a quieter venue or an experienced Assistant Manager looking for a step up to a General Manager role. Your working week will be 45 hours, sometimes you will be required to work more but you will get time off in Lieu if your hours go over. The restaurant opens at 12pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and closing is 11pm weekdays and midnight at weekends. Key responsibilities: Organising staff shifts and scheduling Providing excellent customer service Leading by example Liaising with the head chef and kitchen team Working with food and drink suppliers Ensuring all food safety procedures are strictly followed according to sanitary regulations Following all company policies and procedures regarding dealing with cash, equipment and property Maintaining safe working conditions Interviewing, Mentoring and training staff Working closely with Senior management to meet revenue objectives Implementing appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales If you're looking to manage a gorgeous venue with a slower pace or step up to the role of General Manager then apply today and a member of our team will be in touch Good Luck!
