Practice Area: Litigation - Labor & Employment, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 9 Years, A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Of Counsel with the following responsibilities, requirements, and qualifications:Job Overview:The Employment Litigation Of Counsel will defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad spectrum of employment-related claims and agency charges. Additionally, they will provide guidance, counsel, and training to employers on various employment and labor law matters.Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing various employment-related claims and agency charges.Offer advice, counsel, and training to employers on employment and labor law issues.Represent employers in various legal settings, including courtrooms, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations, particularly in matters involving class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes, contracts, employment torts, and non-compete cases.Preference is given to candidates with Class Action/PAGA experience.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.Minimum of 9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with substantial experience managing and leading litigation cases in a first-chair capacity.Current California Bar admission is in good standing.Prior supervisory experience, including overseeing associate and paralegal work, delegating assignments, and providing constructive feedback.Comprehensive understanding of current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.Dedication to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.Job Location:San Diego, CA A Vault 10 firm for Labor and Employment Law, this firm is a powerhouse in this realm.
