Emergency Medicine physician employment in Iowa : Mason City, Iowa, Emergency Medicine Physician Job Clinical Role: A physician in the Emergency Department provides quality patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The duties of the physician cannot be rigidly defined, but the following description characterizes common expectations of the position. The primary responsibilities may not be interpreted to prohibit functions not specifically identified Level III Trauma Center ~30,000 visits/year Full-service hospital with a 24/7 Hospitalist program, air medical and ambulance services, CT/MRI in the department, bed-side ultrasound, and point-of-use supplies in every room 42 hours of physician coverage/day Tertiary center with 300+ physicians & specialist support to keep patients in house- Trauma surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, GI, ENT, Pediatric Hospitalists, OBGYN, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Ortho Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, etc Only transfers out Practice at one site Hospital-employed position 24/7 scribe coverage and experienced, seasoned nursing staff Teaching opportunity- residents, med-students, PA/ARNP students Accepting H1B visa waiver candidates (no J1) Not accepting Locums candidates Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
