What we offer: An amazing company culture!Medical/Dental/Vision on the first of the month following hire.ESOP (Profit Sharing) and 401(k).Paid vacations, paid holidays.Pre-tax commuter benefits, and onsite parking.Paid sick time after 90 days.100% Prepaid College Tuition for employees and their dependents.Employee assistance program (EAP).Additional Compensation Details: Salary Information Dependent on Experience and Location of RoleYearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Responsibilities Schedule: Sunday-Friday with one floating day off and Saturday off. 6:00AM-2:30PM The RoleHand Packager must ensure produce items are packaged in accordance to customer's specifications (eaches/weight) while meeting quality and productivity standards. Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To*Reviews assignment sheet and reports to appropriate work station*Applies lables as necessary to individual containers *Folds/Tapes corrugated boxes *Fills individual containers (bags or boxes) with specific quanitity or weight of produce item or items *Weighs individual packages to verify that the correct weight/amount of product is enclosed *Sets packaged items in totes maintaining a FIFO (First in first out) dating system *Sorts tomatoes. Removes tomatoes that are production grade and places in separate box designated for processing *Place/stack trays of finished product on to pallet *At end of shift, the employee is responsible for cleaning the work table and surrounding area. This includes wiping down table with a rag and sanitizer and sweeping floor *Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills and Experience *Ability to comprehend simple instructions *Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations (reading scale) *Ability to comprehend verbal instructions and follow that instruction *Ability to read and write conversational EnglishRequired Experience *Produce experience is a plus, but not a necessity *Food handling experience is a plus, but not a necessity *Alaskan Food Handler's card is a plus, but not a necessity Hear from Charlie's employees Supplemental InformationThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
