The Funding Associate helps to ensure organizational compliance by tracking public and private funder requirements, maintaining systems information and providing information for closings and portfolio meetings. Required qualifications to be a Funding Associate : Education, credentials, and experience: High School diploma or GED plus 1 year of experience in grant writing, administration, compliance, monitoring, and/or reporting. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others. Attention to Detail: Ensures information is complete and accurate and follows up to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled. Teamwork: Works with and helps others to accomplish objectives. Preferred Qualifications: Education, credentials, and experience: BS or BA degree in Housing Studies, Urban Studies, Geography, Political Science, Non-Profit Management, Project Management or related field, or commensurate experience in one or more of these areas.
