Title : Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician Work location : Kenworth Mirabel (18160 R. J. -A. -Bombardier, Mirabel, QC J7J 0H5, Canada) Schedule : Monday to Friday, 3:00PM to 11:30PM Salary: between $29-33/hour + $1.60/h premium Benefits : Permanent, 40h/week ; Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11:30PM Salary between $29-33/hour, depending on experience, plus an evening premium of $1.60/hour ; 2 weeks of vacation ; 5 days of paid leave ; 12 statutory holidays ; Being paid weekly ; On-site parking ; Insurance (medical, dental, divison, etc. ) costs covered 100% by the employer ; Télémédecine and employee assistance program ; RSSP matching program ; School tuition fees reimbursement ; Be coached and mentored by experts ; Professional development and career growth within the company ; Corporate events (Christmas Party, Family Day event, etc. ). Summary of responsibilities: Adjust doors, mudguards and hoods ; Repair cracking noises (rattles) ; Install accessories on new and used trucks ; Carry out inspections of new vehicles (P. D. I- Pre-Delivery Inspection) ; Change the oil, lubrication ; Perform alignments ; Clean the work area regularly ; Respect safety rules at all times ; Washing trucks and parts ; Drive vehicules when yardman is absent. Qualifications: Good computer system skills and mastery of training received (i. e. forklift, WHMIS) Class 5 driving license and ability to drive heavy vehicules (class 1 - bonus) ; French and English (spoken and read - functional level). Team work ; Sense of initiative, autonomy, organization and planning ; Ability to work in a variety of positions and lift loads ; Concern and respect for occupational safety standards ; Concern for the quality of customer service.
