JOB SUMMARY: Diversified experience in set-up and operation of metal fabricating machines, such as rolls, shears, saws, punch presses, plasma cutting equipment, laser cutting equipment, metal flanges and benders, and other machinery and hand tools as required, to cut, bend, roll, flange, seam weld and form plates, sheets and structural shapes as specified. Advanced layout, advanced blueprint reading and measurement tools. Proficient in Shop Math. Ability to read. Ability to assist and train other fab employees as needed. Detect unusual conditions or specific problems and report to proper supervision. Observe good housekeeping practices and follow prescribed safety precautions.
