Registered Manager Newcastle Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw) Salary circa £30,000 p. a. depending on qualifications and experience, with on call shifts of £14.30 per session Plus, great benefits including Health Cash Plan. Home, a place where you belong We have a brilliant opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our Care Service in Newcastle, where you will lead our fantastic team of supported living workers and coordinators. As our Registered Manager and safeguarding lead, you’ll ensure the high performance and quality assurance of your services using your experience and skills to effectively motivate and direct your colleagues. You will manage a number of Independent Living Services throughout Newcastle and Gateshead leading your teams to support our customers who are living with learning disabilities. About you You’ll be an experienced Registered Manager operating at a ‘Good standard’ and you will have your level 5 Registered Manager’s Qualification (or be working toward it) and an excellent working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations You will have experience working with adults with learning disabilities and will have held a management role in these services You’ll have experience of leading reflective practice, coaching your team, and encouraging an open, fair, and transparent culture. Experience of partnership working with inter-agency links in health and social care We will support you to lead, manage and govern your team, assuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You support learning and innovation, as well as promoting an open and fair culture. You will ensure the competence of your team through a process of observation and backssment, coaching and directing as required. It’s also important that you have excellent communication skills, IT skills and strong analytical skills too.
