Date Posted: 12/05/2023 Closing Date: 02/05/2024 , 11:59PM ET Req ID: 34816 Job Category: Faculty - Tenure Stream (continuing) Faculty/Division: Faculty of shop Department: Faculty of shop Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Description: The Leslie Dan Faculty of shop at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full time tenure‐stream appointment in the area of pharmacoeconomics and/or Health Economics. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2024 or shortly thereafter. The successful applicant may also be eligible to hold the F Norman Hughes Chair in Pharmacoeconomics. The successful candidate must have completed a Ph D in shop, medical Sciences or related Health Sciences fields, Economics, Public Health, Health Research Methods, Data Sciences, Health Services, Health Policy, Health Management or a related area. Postdoctoral experience, or equivalent (e. g. government, regulatory body, health care organization or industry) is required, preferably in an area related to health systems economics. Candidates must have a clearly demonstrated exceptional record of excellence in research and teaching. Candidates must have experience leading or participating in collaborative research and demonstrated ability to work across disciplines in multidisciplinary research and/or teaching initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to sustain and lead an independent, innovative, externally funded and internationally recognized research program. We seek a candidate whose research compliments the research programs of the highly collaborative faculty in the Clinical Social and Administrative shop (CSAP) Division in the area of health systems economics with experience or interest in shop practice and services. For example, the candidate’s research could focus on: the economic aspects of shop practice, the value shop brings to health care systems, economic cost and consequences,.
